How Gold Coast Tree Pros Works

Gold Coast Tree Pros is a free online referral service. You describe your tree job and upload photos, and we pass your enquiry to one independent, licensed tree business that services your part of the Gold Coast, which contacts you directly with a quote. We don't do tree work, and you pay nothing to use the service.

The three steps

  1. You send the job. Service type, suburb, a short description and ideally a few photos. Photos matter more than anything else you write, because they let an arborist price the real job rather than a guess.
  2. It goes to one local tree business. Not three, not a bidding pool. We group Gold Coast suburbs into three zones, North, Central and South, and your enquiry goes to one independent tree business that services your zone. The areas page shows which zone your suburb is in.
  3. They contact you directly. They will usually ring to ask a question or two, and arrange to see the job if it needs a site visit. Any quote, contract and payment is between you and them.

We pass your enquiry on promptly, usually the same business day. After that it is up to the tree business, so this site cannot promise how quickly it will ring. We are still building the network of businesses in each zone, so we also cannot promise that a business is available for every job in every suburb.

Who runs this site

Gold Coast Tree Pros is operated by Jessy Hart Digital Marketing (ABN 52 475 086 324), a Queensland sole trader. Contact: [email protected].

Gold Coast Tree Pros is not a tree business, not a franchise, and not connected to the City of Gold Coast or any government body.

Why only one business, not three?

Because the three-quotes model is worse for everyone involved. You fill in one form and then field calls from three companies for a week. Each of them knows they are one of three, so each of them prices defensively. The one that wins has to cover the cost of the two jobs it lost.

Sending each enquiry to a single business means one call, one site visit, one quote, and a business that treats the enquiry as worth turning up for.

The trade-off is real and worth stating: you are seeing one price, not a comparison. You are never under any obligation to accept it, and nothing stops you ringing other businesses yourself. If you want to compare quotes, the cost guide gives you published Gold Coast ranges to check the number against.

How we choose the businesses we refer to

We only refer to businesses that tell us they hold the licences and the public liability insurance their work needs, and that are willing to ring people back. We do not inspect those documents on your behalf, and this site is not a guarantee of any business’s qualifications.

Before you accept a quote, ask the business for its current certificate of currency for public liability insurance, and ask about the licences and qualifications it holds for the work it is quoting.

How we make money

Tree businesses pay a flat fee to receive enquiries from this site. That is the whole model.

Two things follow from it, and both are to your benefit. There is no cost to you, at any point, for using this service. And the fee is flat rather than a commission on the job, so nobody here earns more if your quote comes back higher.

What we do with your details

Your enquiry first arrives with us by email, and we pass your name, phone, suburb, job description and photos on to the tree business so they can contact you and quote. A record of the enquiry is kept so that enquiries can be counted for billing and so a lost lead can be recovered if an email fails.

Your details are not sold to anyone, and they are not passed to any tree business other than the one your enquiry is routed to. The services that host the site and deliver the email, Cloudflare and Resend, handle them on our behalf. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is collected, where it is processed, and how to ask for access or correction.

Common questions

Is this service free?

Yes. Sending an enquiry and getting a quote costs you nothing. Tree businesses pay a flat fee to receive enquiries from this site, so the cost never lands on you. How it works explains the steps.

Who will do the work?

An independent, licensed local tree business that services your part of the Gold Coast. We split the coast into three zones, North, Central and South, and send each enquiry to the business covering your suburb. They contact you directly to quote and, if you go ahead, do the job and contract with you. We only refer to businesses that tell us they hold the licences and public liability insurance their work needs, so ask the business for its current certificate of currency before you accept a quote. See how it works and the areas we cover.

Are you a tree company?

No. Gold Coast Tree Pros is a referral service, not a tree business. No one here climbs, cuts or quotes. A licensed local arborist does all of that. How it works has the detail.

Why only one business?

So you are not chased by three tradies after one enquiry. Each enquiry goes to a single local tree business, which means one call, one site visit and one quote. See how it works.

Can I choose a different business?

Not through this site: each enquiry goes to one local tree business. You are never under any obligation to accept the quote, and you are free to approach other businesses yourself. See how it works.
